Borla ATAK, Borla Sport, and Ford Racing Sport are ALL completely different. I did the research.
The ATAK to loud and raspy, it's always loud at any RPM. Borla Sport has the muffled deep sound, and in my opinion the FR Sport was a great mix.

+1 I thought the ATAK was too much for daily driving as you can't make it quiet (leaving my apartment complex at 6am this is a must!)

Cat back or Axle back?
I have the Axle back and love it.
Is the axleback less raspy and no drone? Imagine leaving the resinator is key to keeping the it deeper with no drone.

The resinator is not restrictive, gives you more low end torque, and helps eliminate drone.

There is slight drone starting around 65 and by 75 it is quite noticeable. I was worried it would bother me but by the second day I came to enjoy it. I now miss it when I drive my truck on rainy days.

At low RPM no, in fact it's strange because it's like two different exhaust systems. I had it on the highway at about 70mph and it was quiet, but when you get on the throttle you hear it. My opinion is this: It's a 5.0, so it should sound like one.

Did you drive it in Sport Mode? It seems strange in that mode, it's like the gears hold too long. On the other hand, when it automatically down shifts it sounds bitchin'.

I drive a manual. The sounds I can make the back end make with a little practice are astounding. It is not just 2 exhausts but 3 or 4. It can do entirely different sounds at the same rpm same throttle same speed depending on when you engaged that gear and how quickly you get to WOT. I just recently tried out driving economically and was rather impressed with the extreme amount of gurgling and popping it did shifting 2500-3000.

Ah that's a good point. I have the 3.73 gears so my engine speed is always much higher. At 75 with the 3.55 you may not have much drone. (75 cruising is around 2300 rpm for me)

In my opinion all aftermarket systems have a little drone. Even the FRPP Touring has a touch of it. It was enough to give me a headache at times, but I'm extra sensitive. They sound great though.

I'm torn between the Ford Racing Sport and Borla S-Type. I like a deep sound with some rasp. On some of the videos, the FRPP sounds raspy with no bass. Can someone give their input on how deep the FRPP actually sounds in person?

Over about 3500 rpm it is basically all rasp with a slight bass undertone that makes your heart race. below 3500 it has a very nice bass. Still pops and everything right where you want but it sounds like a true V8 5.0L engine. I was nervous it would have no bass from the videos but there is much more In person.
