Placed my order on 3/23. Just got an update from the dealer last week that the car will be built on 4/20. Super excited.

I'm not sure how they pick what to build. I sure wish I did though.

Two words: Allocation and priority.

And then there's commodity holds but that's less of an issue for the most part at this point.

My priority is 11 and dealer sais he has allocation. Ordered on the 3/26 and still in processing. Dealer said if no change by this Friday he's going to call his production representative.

Hopefully your car builds then too. I was curious of how they build. Do they do same color on the same day?

Cars can be any color and trim and they go down the line together, if it's like my plant. Paint shop is very flexible.
