Cotus Issues?

I know Cotus is in beta and has issues but I haven't been able to look up my status in over a week. I tried both cotus pages (www. And wwwqa.) I'm on a month now for order and still haven't received a vin.

Anyone has having issues with cotus?

Was working for me up until this morning. Been saying vehicle not found since then. Thinking about making it a drinking game. When it works, everyone knock one back.:cheers:

I personally get that its Beta..the info is so off and constanly changing to some other weird bullshit that I don't even bother checking it anymore. I guess I'll be surprised when the dealer calls if the car ever gets here, considering I get about just as good Intel from them.

To date 4 diff EDD car magically has gone from in transit to awaiting shipping and back 2 times. Yesterday it advised my car was delivered on 3/30. This morning its back to in transit with another new EDD...sweet huh

I have a Vin and most times I have to enter the info 3-4 times before it opens and. Finds my car. Before I had my vin it was almost impossible to get in.

One thing that I found works more times than not is to clear your internet cache. Ccleaner does this on PC, or Clean Master does this on Android. When I get "No vehicle found" I do this and the next time I try, it works. Maybe it will work for y'all, too. Just my $0.02

It's been pretty consistent for me. If I get a "no vehicle found" error, I just keep clicking the Track Vehicle button until it shows up. With a drink between each search/click. Some nights are "happier" than others but with inversely proportional results.

Tonight "regular" COTUS isn't playing nice but wwwqa.cotus.ford.com is showing my info.

Y'all can blame me. It was April, 2010 when I "advised" Ford that being able to track a $6 pizza but not a $30k car was absurd. They're a little slow in the IT department. . .

Have they sent you your DORA (dealer order receipt acknowledgement)? If not, I would contact them ASAP and ask for it.

This will have your order number on it.

If they didn't have an allocation, you would not have gotten your DORA. That proves the order was accepted by Ford.
