Hey guys I have some more feedback on the car from this past Sunday
At this point the car has:
Cobb ots stage 1 tune
UPR dual catch can
Ultimate racing intercooler
Custom 25 row oil cooler
Custom 3 inch catback
DSS CF driveshaft
MGW shifter
The biggest issue at my last event was heat soak, the next was oil temperatures.
At the last event charge temps were well over 150 with ambient temps being 60-65. Oil got up to 248 very quickly even with the loss of power.
This past Sunday with ambient temps of 75+ oil temps would not pass 250f and were stable, charge temps were in the 130f range and did way better than stock. From what I can see this car runs somewhat high oil temperatures, on the in dash gauge the dial is still in the green at 250f with room till it hits yellow.
With that said I will switch from Amsoil 5w-30 signature to Amsoil premium protection 10w-40. This will help keep oil pressure up and give the motor better protection at higher temperatures.
The shifting was extremely smooth the whole day, the MGW shifter and CF driveshaft really work well together.
April 12th is my next track day and I have a few things that should be on the car before then.
I have custom wheels which should be here the first week of April and will be mounted with Hankook RS3s.
Steeda lowering springs.
BMR goodies and hopefully an intercooler from ATM so I can put it through its paces.
