HRE Owners - How many do we have here?

I have flopped around on wheels and tires so much, it is not even funny. Never had this issue when I bought aftermarket wheels and tires for my 01 and 03 Cobra's.

I decided to expand my budget and look at the HRE FF01's since I loved that style since day one. I have gotten my pricing for the wheels and tires (Nitto NT05's) and shared the sticker shock with my wife:lol::lol:. Glad she is a car girl. Makes life easier on semi-expensive purchases on things like this but I digress.

Those that own the HRE FF01/15's, will you share your wheel and tire sizes along with brand? Pictures are good, too. I think I have only noticed 2-3 HRE FF owners on the board that have posted in different threads?

I will be running Steeda springs, their sway bars and their cradle alignment kit. With these NT05's and the Steeda components, this car should handle amazing.

I was going to post this in the HRE FlowForm vendor section, but no section has been setup for them yet.

I really wanted the 10/11" but I just love the 01's much better than the '15's.

I'll be getting FF01s in IPA once I finish up these tires. Good taste my friend.

I saw the M6G user Getz's ride with them. That's what sold me; a nice drop and a set of FF01s looks perfect!

Btw Todd, I went to yesterday morning's Cars & Coffee and saw someone running those M129s. They looked great! But that stepped barrel thing did end up bugging me...

You have great taste as well. His setup is what sold me, too. I looked at all of his pictures a 1000 times yesterday and last night. Could not get enough of them. I then when on Bimmer, Porsche and Corvette forums looking for pictures of HRE's running the NT05's tires. I was up until 2:30 this morning googling all this stuff. This wheel and tire choice has been a killer decision for my S550.

As you know we've done put a lot of HRE's on some Mustangs in here

Of course, ours.

Liquid Silver, 20x9.5/ 20x10.5 with BFG rivals 265/35 and 285/35. Some may feel that is too thin but they actually sit perfect. We now have those on our 12 GT500 and are waiting for our other set of HRE's to get in for our 15;)

Our buddy Skylar (DIB mustang) is running on the FF01's I believe his sizing are 305/35 NT555r's and 275/35 cooper RS3 fronts.

Mike on here is running the FF01's as well 275/35 and I believe 295/35 Michelins PSS tires.

I really want to get a guy in here on tome Tarmac FF15's and post some awesome pics

I wound up getting the FF15's in 20x10 and 20x11.

Unfortunately the MPSS 315/35/20's are out of stock everywhere, so I haven't had a chance to put them on yet. I was originally going for the FF01's, but then carguy's thread on the FF15's completely sold me on them, particularly how they look on his car and Gibson's.

You guys are going to be stoked! Here is a shot of my car from this Saturday's Targa Trophy kick off event held at HRE. The FF15 in Liquid Silver are ridiculously good looking. Shameless Zoolander quote I know.

I have these on for another few days while I refinish my FF15 to Tarmac. I have another thread where I am trying to decide on color with one of them being a red metallic. Just don't think I have the balls to pull that off on my daily driver.

But with Tarmac I am also going to do some billet caps to mix it up with a little hit of red to compliment the red Brembo lettering and the 'point' in the 5.0. I'll be posting up pics soon.

And before anyone dissects the photo, yes the rear tire is not right. It's too short and not taking advantage of the 11" wheel width...it's a Michelin PSS 295/30 20
