315/35/20 uh oh maybe ran into some problems

I got a set of 315/35/20 Nitto Motivos planning on going a 20x11 or 20x10.5 wheel and I just put the tire next to the car and it sure as hell doesn't look like it'll clear:doh: Fronts are 255/35/20s which are of course fine.

I was told that due to the camber that a 315/35/20 was fine and would fit without rubbing but from the looks of it I will have to go over speedbumps very slowly.

Do you guys think this will clear? I'm lowered on Eibach Prolines I won't find out for a while due to being on the search for wheels again.

315/35 on a 10.5 inch wheel isn't the best choice. I personally wouldn't do it. You'll most likely rub as a 45mm offset on a 10.5 inch rim is flush. You'll have bulge, you "might" be ok since Nitto does run small.

I personally wouldn't run anything larger than a 295...maybe 305 but again, that's just me.

I appreciate it, well after research and talking to countless people apparently it was fine but it sure doesn't seem like it now.

I didn't want to go this wide but it was suggested by several people :/

I would've honestly been happy with 275s.

I'm gonna see if possible by maybe rolling the fenders. People are somehow running 315s even on 20x10s in the s197s with no issues or poke.

My knowledge is limited when it comes to these things.

There doesn't seem like there is much to "roll" in the back the lip is really small from the factory.

295 works perfect with the Velgens. 305 would be the widest I would go.

You can do that setup as I have done the same tires on a 20x10 ET 40

It is flush but if you lower the vehicle make sure your camber is at -1.5 to -2 degrees

this will help you in fitting them in the back with no rubbing.

Toyo tires and Nitto tires sit slim so your good.

Make sure your toe is at Zero as thats what kills tires.

Pretty much what that means is the front tucks up in the well a bit but nothing stupid or insane, a lot of the members I have hooked up have their rides lowered and we tossed the 315s on, it fills them up so right and they give a nice beefy look the way a stang should have it done.

Pretty much when you lower it on sportlines your camber goes to about -1.5 which is good but if you want further adjustment get it to -2 like how the GT PP is once you lower it on a pro kit drop ( comes factory -1.5) and then you get to fit them beefy tires in there with no rubbing no poking no headaches and just all smiles.

I thought I had the sportlines, I keep getting them confused. I have the pro ones but will that all still apply?
