rocks chips

Anyone else having issues with rocks kicking up and hitting front bumper and chipping the paint?

Not with this car cause its parked in the garage till winters over.. I learned my lesson with that before with other cars tho.. cause the rocks and cinders are everywhere on the roads this time of year around here!.. Im lucky i have a beater car for the winter. But im really wanting someone to make some kind of sporty mud flaps for this car ASAP at least to save the fenders!

Yes mines my daily driver so I've been trying to avoid rocks as much as possible but it's hard. I already have 2 chips on my bumper after the 1st month if driving. I work in an industrial area too

Got racing stripes installed on car yesterday and on the way home a construction truck cuts me off to make an exit. The trucks tires were kicking up small pebbles and I heard one strike the front. Tore a small hole (the size of an ink pen head) into the vinyl.

The shit was on my car for less than 2 hours...FML

That sucks! Yeah I got one about the size of a sharpie tip. But mine is ignot silver so it's not to noticable

ive had mine since november. ive got 1 rock chip on the hood and 1 on the front bumper. i wasnt going to spend 40 bucks on dr color when i got the first chip....but now it might be worth having around.

Yeah, mine is ingot as well. The problem is the stripes are flat black, so the little hole on my bumper is like "HAI THAR!"

I'm going to dab some plastip on the hole and see if it mask it a little.

I'm going to try it for a few of the chips I have on the front around the stripes.

Its mainly big trucks that kick up the crap. Believe it or not there are mudflap laws. I see dump trucks in South Florida ALL the time without any mudflaps kick up rocks. Makes me want to call the local cops with their plates and company name when I hear a rock ping.

Flaps are there for a reason, especially with dual back tires kicking up road crap.

I have one in my hood just like that, but luckily stripes cover it.

I guess it's just something I have to deal with...then again it is a car and it's going to eventually get hit with rocks
