Looks like we have another charge-pipe option available to us for our EcoBoost Mustangs! Can't wait to see some reviews and installed pics, looks to be a quality built setup.

For that price... even with 10%... no thank you. That's insanely high for aluminum pipe and some silicone couplers.

Plus you need an aftermarket BOV so you'll be out even more money.

Guys. Sorry you're not satisfied with the price of the kit. However, if you look at what we offer compared to what other kits out there offer you'll see the value you get with our kit.

Our kits are made with very high quality components, made here in the US and in our opinion has a much better design than our competition.

By all means if you're simply price shopping and want the lowest price I'm sure there's other kits aimed at that. But if you want the best that's out there it's gonna cost a bit more.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Jared

Jared- if you are going to make the statement that your kit is better quality/engineered over what is out there can you explain why?

Greg,

The 6061 polished aluminum we use is a much higher quality material than the stainless steel that others are using.
That in itself is what makes our kit a higher quality kit.

We also don't use a rubber 90 deg elbow like others do but instead have designed that bend to be incorporated into the piping.

The rubber elbow is just a cheap substitute for a well fabricated pipe and is used to keep cost down. We prefer our kit to be looked at as the higher quality kit where no shortcuts are made to save money but still be competitive in price.

Hope that helps.

Jared

Interesting and I say that because some of the CAI manufacturer's are using SS as they have seen it perform better on the dyno and supposedly dissipates the heat better than alum.

Greg,

If stainless steel dissipates heat better than aluminum then, for the past 80 years radiators would have been made out of stainless . Same goes for heat exchangers and intercoolers. Aluminum is the best material at dissipating heat available to the general public.

Whoever says different is probably someone you don't want to get fabrication advice from. :-)

Otherwise, I hope all is well with you. If there's anything else I can help you with please let me know.

Thanks,
Jared

Not to throw fuel on the fire, but FFTEC's charge pipes are aluminum (powder coated), have zero 90 degree bends and they can use the stock BOV or aftermarket if you request it. They are also $189.00. Maybe you can offer non-polished and save the consumer some cash?

I appreciate the feedback but at this time we won't be changing the design of the kit as they're selling very well the way they are. Our kit was designed for those who want the best and don't mind paying for higher quality materials and hardware.

Thanks!

Hey Jared since your kit is running a bov won't it make the car run rich since the stock one is a bpv and the computer accounts for that and adjusts fuel accordingly..? Or will that require a custom tune to adjust for the bov? Thanks:confused:

Only cars that use a MAF sensor have that problem. The ecoboost uses a MAP sensor so its not an issue. You can vent to atmosphere all day long on this car.
