i'm sure i missed it some where but where can I learn or can someone tell me the difference in design with roush/whipple being on top of the block vs the design of the procharger being on the front right and stand alone it seems...since they are in different locations too... not super familiar with superchargers and the different designs for this car.
It's the difference of a positive displacement SC (Whipple, Roush, VMP) vs a centrifigal SC (ProCharger, Vortech, Paxton).

We can do pricing for any of those. If interested give us a call to talk about it. WE ALSO OFFER A LAY AWAY Program for any of these.

thanks! only makes me want one more.

anyone have their specific reasons for choosing one type of super charger over the other specifically for this car?
They have their pros and cons. PD blowers are probably more fun around town but since the boost comes on immediately it's known to be harder on your drivetrain and tires and they make more heat. This is why I'm pretty set on a centri blower since it seems like it might be easier to deal with in traffic.

^^^^

Correct.

This platform is so awesome compared to the 2 and 3v cars we were used to having.

You can't go wrong with either.

Our heart is in the centri category too

Couple more very important plusses for the Centrifugal.

- Cost (people are getting into our HO systems, for just over $5K)
- Easy install. (like way way way easy. No wiring, No coolant pumps, etc)
- 100% reversible. (Everything stays untrimmed, uncut, unmodified)
- No Heat Soak. (Same power, every time you floor it, fade free)
- Sound. (who doesn't love the sound of a bypass valve letting off boost?)

Ok, so that last one wasn't really a big deal. But it is an addictive sound! :)

Thanks for posting the blog on your site. It was a good read.

What is the main benefit of adding the bypass valve?

Subbin' for when my car become 5 years old and I can convince the wife to allow me to install an SC instead of buying a new fast car.
