Mach 1 Racing Stripe Extension over the top - a work in progress

I had a local shop install AutoDesign-Shop decals over the roof and on the deck lid of my Mach 1 and the 3M vinyl is top quality. The proportions of the intended deck lid stripe, terminating before the HP Spoiler, didn't look quite "right" so we extended it through the spoiler to the end of the deck lid. I realize these are meaningless subjective decisions that offer no performance gains but I'm trying to decide if I should continue the stripe onto the rear bumper. I won't run the stripe over the glossy black panel but just the bumper, including behind the license plate.

Can anyone who knows how to edit images show a rendering? Thanks.

What did you end up doing? I'd keep it ending on the trunk, just because it starts on the hood, not the front bumper, like most racing stripes. Just my opinion.

Thanks, I waited a long time to get a car, just for me, and after numerous mods to tailor it to my "wants" I thoroughly enjoy driving it, mostly because rowing the Tremec 3160 close ratio gears through an MGW shifter is that much fun and takes me back to my youth. Chat GTP did an image edit to extend the stripe into the bumper but my family likes the stripe terminating at the edge of the deck lid and I agree, just like you recommended. I almost always do my own work but this was worth having a pro do the installation, it's a two man job to finesse the layout, squeegee, and heat gun to eliminate any bubbles plus they contorted themselves under my roll bar bracing much better than I could to replace the shark-fin antenna for a hockey puck style. (I don't need the GPS and telematics "benefits.") The spoiler removal was also an unexpected challenge with all the double-backed tape that had to be separated.

I've got a spare hood stripe that came with the decal set, if you want it, but it says Mach 1 just like the OEM stripe.

Thanks for the offer, it's tempting...my car does have the mach 1 wheels, side stripes, and rear diffuser from ford(my favorite mod)
