Any good ordering experiences thus far in Arizona? Im in Tucson, but I have no issue driving up to Phoenix is anyone has had some good experiences.

ordered a 2015 LE (whimbledon white, auto) with Chapman Ford in Scottsdale. great bunch of guys over there. ask for Tate in internet sales.

however ... the guys at Berge Ford in Mesa are on the take - watch out. received this email from their guy in internet sales yesterday:

Spoke with all parties on our end again Saturday. They are still looking to be $20,000 over [MSRP] on the 50th Anniversary Mustang. I am still trying to bargain for you. Let me know if you have found one elsewhere.

I almost placed an X-Plan order with Earnhardt, but the final paperwork showed a document fee of over $400. When I showed them the X-Plan rules about the document fee they claimed they had to charge all customers the same amount but always refund the overage to X-Plan buyers after delivery.

Seemed a bit sketchy to me so I declined.

I tried to order in May with Jim Click and they didn't even want to deal with the 2015 Mustang when the order banks opened - more than happy to sell a 2014 lot car though.

Ended up making a May 24 order at Oracle Ford. Very polite and easy to get the X-Plan price with no abnormalities. Issue with this dealer is that they are small, rural, and sell mostly F-150s. Getting scheduled quickly may be a problem with them.

Thats how I am feeling about Jim Click as well. 100% of their email replies ignore any questions that I ask about the 2015 mustang and just keep asking if I want to look at any of their other cars. Pretty frustrating. Even if I do buy from Jim Click, I can be sure it won't be from their internet sales.

I'll have to look into Oracle to see what their allocation looks like. Might not be too big of an issue if I don't order it until December-February of 2015.

ive bought many cars from anthony garcia at bell ford, he is simply the best and harley williams, the sales mgr that makes the actual price deals is great as well. cant say a bad word about the place.

You'd have to really travel to find my guy, but the sales rep and manager gave me the best customer service experience around. I worked with both Bell and Sanderson, but it was Tom Jones out in Buckeye that had the service to meet my needs. If you're looking to order, I'd recommend them. If you're buying off the lot, they're not your dealer as they are pretty small and don't have many cars on site.

I placed my order in July (still waiting delivery due to V6 commodities issues at the Ford plant). They gave me the equivalent to x-plan pricing right out of the gate. Then they suggested I do some research to see if I could find some deals. That's when I discovered x-plan deals. I brought my PIN in and they gladly recalculated for me. There was no "hard sell" at any point in time. And to top it off, they have no city sales tax. But like I said; they're in Buckeye.

Finally took delivery of my car.

As I mentioned earlier, TOM JONES FORD was amazing. When I picked up my car all I had in hand was a $750 rebate I got in the mail. Even before I presented it to them, they told me they had found all the rebates they could for me. So on top of x-plan I was also given 2 rebates for $750 and 1 other for $500. To top it off, because of their location they don't have to charge city tax. The savings was well worth the extra miles to drive to Buckeye.

That sounds nice - I'll have to look into them. The only pull I have here in town is that Jim Click Ford does the maintenance for life stuff (oil changes and tire rotations). Which isn't huge, money wise. However, its nice to know that I can just pull up to the service department and everything is taken care of.

That being said - how much do I save on oil changes over 4-5 years? I believe they do oil changes every 7500 (or 6/months) so that would roughly be 550 - 650 over 4-5 years. Not that huge of a draw...

Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ. Ordered our F 150 (2011) and ordered our 2015 GT Premium. Great Dealership and no pressure like buying a car should be. We drove 100 miles each way to order from them. Lots of inventory.
