Doesn’t sound like you really want that one.
It is hard to pass on one, but many go up for sale, so you should wait for the one that fits what you’re looking for. Especially, the exterior color, you will see that everyday.

As for the mods, sounds like you don’t plan to put those on, so doesn’t make sense to get one with them.

Do you plan to but a Ford ESP extended warranty? If so, you may have to undo some of the mods, or those things won’t be covered. Not sure if you can remove a tune, so there is no evidence it has been there. I could easily see them not covering the motor if there is a tune.

It took me around 4 months of searching before the ‘right’ one popped up for me. It was not easy passing on some, but I had things I didn’t want to give up. Of the things on my list, the only thing I really gave up on was the mileage (wanted 10-12k, but this had just under 20k). I wanted a specific color and the comfort seats, so my choices were limited. But I wasn’t going to pay that much and not get what I wanted. Nor should you.

Yeah… I think I’m being blinded by the “price“ and I feel like I am settling. It really isn’t the color that I want and for the mods I don’t really plan on doing anything to the car and I really do want the factory wheels again I think I’m just kind of fascinated by the deal which is probably not the best way to buy a fun Sunday car….. really appreciate your insight

Everyone’s financial constraints are different, obviously. The one thing, especially with these cars, is you get what you pay for. These are not the cars to go bargain hunting with. It doesn’t mean you have to spend 70’s 80’s or whatever, just stay away from the basement so to speak even if you need to wait a bit and save a little more. For me personally exhaust mods and a tune would would kill the interest pretty much instantly unless I knew the person and they had the stock parts. Until you get above the 8-900hp range the exhaust mods(long tubes) just don’t equate to much. Tunes can be very subjective. There’s some very good tuners out there, there’s also a lot more that are terrible and can hurt the car easily and quickly. These cars are so good stock, it’s remarkable Ford got them past the bean counters and produced these cars. Don’t get me wrong, loved my fi’d versions to but that’s a different discussion. We all know how getting the itch goes to, take your time, most likely once you find and get what you want you probably won’t turn lose of it.

Wait and find a Factory stock (no mods ) low miles how low under 25 k , how did I come up with that milage mostly your budget. If you can find 10 to 15 k miles, at your price range Stock no mods , clean Carfax run and buy it . Ideally let's say for me I would go on milage , no budget , stock no mods clean Carfax , what ever the cost for under 10k miles . I went with a Mach because I can't do a manual, I'm old and bad feet.
Again wait the right one will surface , when you least expect it.

Thanks all I feel like I’m getting pretty close. I’m not so concerned about elevated miles in the 40 to 50 range as long as it’s been well taken care of I just want make sure I get the right color, as well .. this is a total luxury and a car that I’ll be driving on Sundays or two events so I’m gonna get the right one for me

If you decide on one with higher miles, look for a good service history and clean carfax. You'll find a good one.

Just fyi - A lot of the online Ford ESP sellers such as Granger, Zeigler et al. no longer offer the ESP plan on GT350s older than 2018, but, don’t sweat it. I got the “Platinum” covers everything Extended warranty through my Credit Union for 6 yrs and additional 90K miles for only $2700 on my ‘18 w/21K miles and that even included wheel/glass/dent repair and road hazard for tires as well. Much cheaper than comparable ESP plan. They would have covered a ‘16-17 GT350 as well.

You can still go to a Ford dealer and buy an ESP. Just not online anymore, it seems. I just did that a couple months ago.

Of course, you just don’t get close to 6/90 full coverage for <$3K, correct me if I’m wrong. Also, I was looking at a Oxford/Blue ‘17 350 with 30k miles from Granger in Des Moines back in late February and the salesman, Jack, told me they no longer sell the ESPs on 350s older than ‘18 even in person. I was about to buy it for $46,800 and get it shipped to TX. Some local clown got it before I could put deposit on it. Anyway, I’m not still pissed or anything lol
