Has anyone had this happen to their car? I have been hearing a random clanking noise on the bottom of my car. Figured this was it with how much movement it has. It’s being replaced tomorrow but anyone have any experience with it?

Havent seen that, but theres plenty of stuff which can clank on the bottom half of the car. Does it sound like its a fast clank or an occasional one? Is it resonant at specific rpm ranges or associated with bumps in the road?

Does your parking brake still work?

That bracket seems like it would clank, and you can adjust it to shorten the parking brake linkage, but its actually not often an issue deapite how loosey goosey it seems.
Its a tight squeeze but you can get a small wratcheting wrench on it or maybe a deep 1/4” socket (its been a while I forget which) and toy with it. But again, try to describe the sound you’re hearing.

I guess the only noise I would compare it to would be pretty similar sounding to the clankiness of loose swaybar endlinks.

It’s all random, it doesn’t do it any particular time. It isn’t as persistent as other suspension noises I’ve heard. So that’s why I think it’s this. Plus it never made the noise before this happened

I’m going to repair my brake cables tomorrow and see if it’s my endlinks

When you’re under the car for the ebrake cable, tap on the driveshaft collar’s little metal shield and see if it clicks.
