From what I remember, S550 base 2-pots and GT 4-pots use the normal master cylinder, but the GT PP 6-pots got a different one. Booster might be the same, but don’t quote me on that))

S650 is another story, no vacuum booster on those at all)
I finally found the post i needed to confirm this "Upgrading to Performance Pack (PP) brakes on an S550 Mustang requires swapping the master cylinder (28.5mm vs. 27mm bore) and the brake booster to achieve proper pedal feel. The PP booster provides different assist levels necessary to match the 6-piston Brembo hydraulic ratio" so apparently master is the different and the vacuum assist is also different :fistbump:

Yes I could use the switch vs the electric handle, and hahaha thank you lol you'd probably just have to find a spot to mount the switch, and a switch that'll handle to amperage
And lemme add to my comment up above, if you are keeping the s550 interior, you could get a shop on etsy to make a 3d printed ebrake delete panel or make a extra pocket where the ebrake sits for storage if you wanna delete it, with the s650 rear brake swap I will be posting the wiring soon and testing everything, but you could run a knob similar to a trailer brake that always stays centered and when you rotate to the right, engages the electric brake, then when released, the knob goes back to the center position but stays engaged like a momentary switch, or just run a button but I think theres electric parking brake switches that are unniversal for engagement and disengagement, if you have an automatic you may be able to run a GT500 center console and I could try and help see if the wiring from a shifter to the knob will be compatible because the gt500 also comes with electronic ebrake switch and no manual handle

Yeah mine is an automatic, the GT500 setup would be perfect if it can be done!
If not I was thinking along the lines of 3d printing something.

I apologize for not updating but I purchased a Triple Seven E-Brake Handle and put the parking calipers and wiring on hold for now, Interior swap been killing it, only one issue, parked facing the sun and cluster went into fail safe due to heat so ran the AC and came back on, only once though. Did score an amazing deal, I'll just let the pictures explain

I plan on keeping the hood raw carbon, and painting the fenders but keeping the vents exposed carbon

Update, diving back into the swap to finish the retrofit, I ordered a S650 steering wheel and am ordering the airbag soon, I still haven't wired in the s650 Module to communicate the sccm to get the cruise and mode functions to work yet, once the wheel is in, I will attempt this since I know a lot of people wanted to see a S650 wheel in the S650 Dash swap, rear electric caliper wiring project coming soon

Traction button is still a bust, I believe I need the electric/hydraulic brake master assembly to communicate but I will have to mess with wiring for the body control module and pcm and that poses an actual risk vs the way it is right now where traction is always on, however I do wanna cut the loop of the infamous drift switch in the engine bay (connector by the airbox that has a wire loop, disconnect it and disengages all traction and stability controls) and wire this to a switch on the interior to act as a traction control disable, also if all fails with the drive modes not working, not the end of the world since 1. I don't have a active exhaust, 2. I could just get a pedal commander to adjust pedal sensitivity on the go, and 3. The S650 interior feels more older and it would give me a more analog feel anyways, plus I love the stock s650 display vs the track and sport mode so doesn't really bother me... but would be nice to have :fingerscrossed:

Oh and I didn't even mention, I got the carbon fenders and hood for a steal, muscle autozone was local to me, I only had them install the hood cause of the tedious alignment amd drilled for $300, the carbon hood was $750, and the fenders were some spares from the very first batch they made for $500, there on like v2 or v3 of them now, took more pics, trunk gonna be gone soon, gonna pull the trigger on a carbon trunk. Also apparently S650 Eco/GT lip fits the DH style bumper with minor modifications to the lip itself where the corner of the bumper meets, so finally have a proper lip now compared to before

Air bag order has been placed, best deal i could find vs $400 minimum everywhere I looked :sunglasses: also purchased a forged carbon bezel to cover the chrome and fake carbon texture on the switches of the wheel that is probably gonna take a month to get lol trying to get the Mustang as California legal as possible, I just ordered mishimoto charge pipes for hot and cold side since its carb, I currently have ebay $130 special when I was a broke boy lol now time to get some fancy pieces to revamp the engine bay, also the mishimoto is actually bigger then what diameter mine are right now so performance gain

She's almost done, bought a steering wheel cover so I can refresh the 3k mile S650 steering wheel, stock leather looked and felt horrible but now :inlove:

Also installed triple seven performance ebrake handle, had to order some bolts and countersunk washers on amazon, M6x25 stainless countersunk and 14mm countersunk washers to fit perfectly in the recess bolt holes

The update you all have been waiting for! Everything fits!! So ALL I bought was the rotors, calipers that came with the bolts and brake lines, spindles with dust shields and wheel speed sensors (reused my sensor, same but dont want problems), all the brackets from s650 line up on s550 only difference is the vertical link, and the brake caliper banjo bolts are different so use the s650 lines and s650 bolt, I used the whole brake line to where it connects to the inner frame on the hard mount line, heres the pics, also did it in duplicolor metalcast silver base, and then the metalcast red and duplicolor engine enamel clear, will be doing the brembo stickers but wanna wait a week so it fully cures cause I already chipped the paint :explode:

Also got the S650 back up camera installed with the brown fakra wiring from radio to camera, I'm not gonna lie, i the s550 bracket even modified was a pain and I'm like im not removing this if its a pain to even screw on, so i used silicone and it created a tight seal and doesnt move at all, very firm but I need to adjust

Brake pedal was super stiff after I bleed my brakes but ones I pumped the clutch a few times and started rolling, it felt normal, driving home, HUGE DIFFERENCE, AGAIN reminder I will be upgrading the the Performance Pack Master Cylinder or Brake Booster, I forgot which one I need to replace to prevent I assume long term damage of brake bias because It is a ecoboost base model that came with 2 pistons in the front, I then swapped to the GT base 4 piston caliper and the performance pack vented rear rotors with the pp2 rear 1 piston caliper, I will be swapping to the S650 front 6 piston calipers too
Nice work on the rear Brembos swap! I am interested in doing this to my car in the future.

When you have time can you post more pictures of how all the rear suspension worked out? Have you had the car aligned since you've installed the S650 knuckles?

I have not sadly I have been lagging, driver side turned out to look normal, passenger side the toe is bad... like lots of positive toe out in the rear, still have yet to get an alignment but will next week

I’m curious if S650 seat covers would fit the S550 seat frame / foam padding. Just like the door panels, they are just different enough to be interesting.
I came across this and was wondering if anyone had verified this was doable. I noticed one member on this site bought the S650 covers and attempted to do the swap but quit after doing the bottom section on the front saying there were differences in the clips and inner velcro as well as the inner retaining bars. He decided to go with katzkin.
