With good tires you can get that 0-60 way down. My best is 4.2.

We have the same car and same tune. If you're that much faster than me I definitely need to get some data logs over to Torrie since mine is barely faster than stock. It FEELS much better, though, I do admit that.

I think my car is just messing with me at this point. I broke into the 5s with a 5.9 launching around 2200rpm and shifting (just sort of for fun) at like 4300 rpm. I have no idea what that means. Shift at 4300 at the track until I hit the 3-4 shift? Shift at 4300 all the time?! Lolol

Finally got a chance to do a 0-60 run with the track apps. Got a flat 6.0s with myself, wife, and son in the car (I weigh around 285lb). Got a bit of wheel spin on the launch. Chirped second. This is on a bone stock EB premium with PP on stock tires.
Not a great time but not bad with so much extra weight in the car.

Not a bad time at all I think 5.2 is the best stock magazine result I've seen. Mid 5 seems to be the norm for a stocker.

That is pretty impressive NVulture, I am guessing you have an automatic. I am not sure what is going on with me or my car but the best time I could muster stock was 6.2. I'm 195 and was by myself in the car.

The car is very powerful with the off the shelf Cobb tune. It flies through the RPMs much more quickly. And that is how I hit the 5.9. I am at a loss at this point, I really cant figure it out. I thought it may just be my Track Apps but the Access Port also gave me the same 0-60.

Again, hitting 14.4 twice at the track seems pretty solid, completely stock on the pirellis. But these 0-60 times are driving me up the wall. I seem to run a 6.0 whether I shift at 5500 or 4300, which makes no sense to me. I am betting it will be easily into the 13s with the Cobb tune. we shall see.

Sorry forgot to mention it's a manual. Try lower rpms for the launch... I'd like to tell you what rpm I launched at but I don't pay attention to the tach. I do it by feel and sound.

Well now I feel even worse haha. Ive feathered the clutch with minimal spin. Ive done it barely breaking the wheels. Ive done it spinning all through first. Ive done it with zero spin. Haha

Ive launched at 2200, 2500, 3000.

What was your launching RPM, clutch method (slow drop, any spin at all?) 1st gear spin? I pretty much always chirp 2nd. and shifting RPM? You have to do the 2-3 shift right? I think its impossible for me to hit 60 mph in 2nd gear.

Pretty much just popped the clutch cause I did get a bit more wheel spin than I wanted but I can't tell you my rpms.. Sorry... I'll give it another go today and pay a bit more attention. How many miles are on your car? And this is with a Cobb tune? I had a bit over 500lbs of extra weight in the car as well (285lb myself, 100lbs for my son and around 150 for my wife). With 93 octane sunoco gas.

Best time I ever hit was 6.2 stock on 93. I installed the Cobb tune friday, and after letting it settle in, I hit the 5.9. The car has to learn that it has 93 gas in it (again after the tune) for a period of time. When your car is new, or you change gas the car has to slowly learn what gas it has before it will open up. Now I am running 93 only, I put 87 in for a tank (before the tune) and ran like a 14.8 at the track. Dont ask me why I had 87, it was just a bonehead experiment. Once all that happened the car feels phenominal.

I did a few 0-60s with my girlfriend in the car and it felt fast but woudn't break 6.1 or 6.2 shifting at about 5750 RPMs. My car has 2000 miles on it roughly. And I studied the Cobb tune torque curve.

and decided to try again today. Using the curve I decided to shift way early (4500) and I hit a darn 5.9!!

Everyone seems to have an automatic. I am looking to start some information exchange with the manual transmission folks. I appreciate it.

The Cobb tune rips by the way, Im getting like 360 lbs of torque according to the Access Port and its super noticeable. (was around 300lbs of torque before the car re-learned the 93 octane) It is an off the shelf tune, so it has plenty of meat left on the bone. This is my daily driver so I wanted to keep it as safe and under control as possible.

The reason I mentioned sunoco gas was because after putting shell in the car I felt it wasn't as quick. I'll see if I can make a couple runs today and post back when I get more rpm info for ya.
