I am looking for a razor knife with very precise depth control

I need to remove a partial section of PPF and vinyl stripe related to a repair to my hood.

I searched online but could not find any knife that can be adjusted to precisely cut to a depth of 5 or 10 thousandths.

Before I DIY my own tool, does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a razor block that is designed specifically for cutting picture mats....but at a 45 degree angle.
The blade depth can be adjusted to infinite levels. Not sure if 45 degrees over ten-thousandths would make a difference. A crafts store may have a different solution other than a 45 degree as well.
