It's at a Ferrari dealer, so it wouldn't surprise me if a Ferrari owner walks in to get their car serviced and sees it sitting there in the showroom and just buys it on whim without really doing any research.

Love that spec.
A lot of people who own Ferraris only have them as investment. They don‘t see any Mustang as an investment. Nice show, not the best venue. IMO, that car would do better at a Ford dealer known for selling SE Mustangs and Shelby’s.
Never know when today’s 2017 GT PP owner hits the lotto.

I really don't see any car as an investment. The carrying value of a GT350 in your garage is a liability (tag fees, insurance, tire rot, etc). Even if you don't drive it, most serviceable parts are decreasing in value. The money you spent would be worth ~twice as much if you bought securities.

It's a fun hobby, and I still want to drive it in the mountains on a cool day in the fall season.

The Ford GTs and the GTD are collectibles. The Voodo GT350's are next.

I'd say $75,000 (which is $80K after taxes and expenses) for the market value.

I'd say that would be a fair price especially with the unit in question not coming with the Shelby GT350R Owners Kit and no Shelby GT350R car cover.

Will be interesting to see how collectible the 2025/2026 Mustang GTD models will be and of the recent generation of GT350/R models the most collectible of that group is certainly the 2015 GT350R models.

I’d buy the car tomorrow if they’d take 75kish. The cover is easily attainable, have two for my r and two for my cftp currently. The owners box wouldn’t be a deal breaker. There’s not a chance in …. that car will sell for around the 75-80k mark. It is what it is. It’s a very nice color combination. Don’t think it’ll bring six figures, but I doubt it’ll be off by much from there. The funniest thing about the price speculation and what people say are the values, is almost all of these types aren’t actually buying anything at any price point, let alone buying the examples that are arguably the most desireable with very low miles, one or two owners(especially original owner) etc. As time goes on, they get rarer in that spec, that to is what it is. It’s pretty impressive that these cars still command very strong money. Many like to bring up people not putting miles on various cars. I get that, but also realize for some some cars are art that isn’t hung on the wall. Could be argued looking at something in ones garage has a much more visceral affect then something on the wall to. No judgements there either.

You guys forgot that all 2015-2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 cars were delivered with a MSRP sticker and a package from Ford.

I'd recommend that all sellers post what they have.

Funny story, was telling the accounting department that I’m thinking of grabbing another R to put less miles on…and she was absolutely flabbergasted how much more we would have to pay now, as opposed to when I bought mine back in 2020 😋

Are you in charge or do you take orders from your accountants?

lol, you are in the wrong venue sir…

…marital advice is three rooms down on your left 😬
You are not delivering good tech.

You own a Japanese 350R Procharged w/P1X? What is that? and how does it relate to a Porsche forum?

Interesting you mentioning that HR289 would sell for not that far off of the $100,000 mark therefore wondering what comps do you have to back that up?

Also interesting to read that you mentioned there's not a chance that HR289 will sell for around the $75,000 to $80,000 mark?

When looking at the 3 most recent sales of low mileage 2017 R models on BaT with those 3 vehicles averaging 208 miles on the odometer, the average OTD price for those 3 examples was ~$80,490.

It was also nice to see that 2 out of those 3 vehicles came with an OEM Shelby GT350 car cover and their respective 2017 GT350R Owners Kit even though it seems that those items may have very little or no value to you.

As far as you suggesting that I am not presently involved with the purchase of these or similar HP Blue Oval vehicles at any price, you just might want to rethink that comment again.

that’s because I havent been paid for my tech advice since I was an F16 crewchief back in the 90s…

…and yes, a Japanese 350z looks just like an American 350r after 1-2-3 tequilas, and I used to fly Sammy to his Cabo WaBo’s when he opened them so I know what you’re going thru 😉

Back to the issue at hand, here is the exact same year and spec of the aforementioned mentioned car, at less than half the price with 26k miles…but still more than I paid 😬
