Reality check, he's not making anywhere near 500 at the crank. His baseline started at 390 rwhp+. He's got the happy dyno mod.
Someone piss in your Cheerios this morning? You sound like such a happy person:lol:

You think 445RWHP doesn't equate to at least 500 crank HP? I disagree 1000000%.

Even though the Dyno says 445hp 412tq

It's still 395 according to him. That's what I got out of his post.

I'll wait for the 1/4 mile time slip, he can fill us in on the weight of his car, I'll gladly figure out the DA and let's see what he MPH's. MPH is the true test of HP..... I'm glad I subscribed, I can't wait for the results.

When my car had only a catback and tune it dyno'd at 438/421 to the wheels which is very high compared to others with similar mods on a dynojet. The best MPH in the 1/4 mile was 117 which is about what a 400rwhp car would do, telling me the dyno was very optimistic. For 445rwhp the car would need to trap about 120mph to be considered accurate(relatively speaking).

Trying to guesstimate crank horsepower is pointless in my opinion.

Not at all. I'm just realistic and realise inflated numbers when I see them. By his stock dyno run, you would believe he made 464 at the crank, bone stock as delivered by FORD. I call BULLSHIT, and if the OP is the all knowledgable guy he portrays, he would too.

But it's ok, I'll wait and see what he traps at the track....... I'm patient.... Have a nice day on Fantasy Island.

I agree on the pointless park. My assumption is their dyno would be accurate given who they are and what they along with their track record.

What about the other 30 cars from all over the U.S. that have dynoed bone stock between 385-395 RWHP on dynos? Guess those are all bullshit and incorrect.
Todd is cool, just offering a different perspective.
Thanks Peter. I am no expert nor do I do this stuff for a living. He just came across as an ass. Lot of Richard swingers on the Internet these days.

He voiced his opinion and I did mine :D:cheers:

Wow, talk about butt hurt.

You're making an assumption about an automotive tuning tool. Has nothing to do with their record or who they are. Ask Livernois if they believe his car is making over 460 at the crank as delivered..... BTW, they work very closely with Ford, I'm sure they know the answer.

Another point, the days of factory freak cars are very few and far between. Engine tolerances and computer controls are so tight today, the days of yesteryear are gone.

30 cars on dynojets, whoopty doo. Most people know dynojets are happy dyno's.

Let the OP run the car at the track...... that will prove who's full of shit or not.

"lot of Richard swingers on the Internet these days." Lot's of ignorant children too.

Just depends on the dyno. If you had had 30 runs on a Mustang or Dyno Dynamics you would have had 30 cars making more like 340-350ish whp.

I'm sure he is. Just bringing fact into the equation.
Ok. Your bringing "fact"

What rwhp do the 15 5.0's make?

Your bringing fact, bring it big boy.

I can define "fact" if you like also, so make sure your answer fits the statement YOU made.
