You proved me right in your post. Thanks

The headers allowed you to lower boost and make the same power more efficiently.

Annnnnnd Thanks!

A meth kit for safety? Please tell me your kidding.

Safe, till it malfunctions. Or you run out of meth.

Safe is a correct tune. Then there is no need for a safety net. My coupe made 980 to the wheels on 93. No need for meth. The tune was correct.

Precision 1000 water to air intercooler.

Basic set up. No safety nets. Reliable power I drove to work, Woodward dream cruise anywhere. No band aids needed

I hate this saying but........ A motor is only a air pump...... The faster and more efficiently you get air in and out the more more you'll make. There are a lot of variables involved mainly heat, but it's still true. You forcing air in and choking it on the way out.

I responded to your comment of "You'd be leaving a lot on the table with factory headers and a blower"

I proved you wrong. Annnnnnd thankkkkksssss!!

As far as the rest of your drivel, no need to respond, I can clearly see you're your own biggest fan.

Whoever think that long tubes are a waste need to do a search, I can understand they are pricey for the gains but don't say they won't benefit the motor in making more power efficiently.

I want 600whp so headers aren't needed. Although I will admit a good set of headers will always help. Less boost is needed with a proper exhaust, in return you have less heat and is more efficient. If you are on a budget I would say pass if your goals don't require headers.

Anthony - I thought you cancelled the SW headers and went with ARH. what changed your mind to stay with the SW?

It's amazing when you call to cancel a order, how they ship them that day! Arh was still a week out. SW showed up next morning.

Perfect. 10x Better than any of the kooks I've ever installed.

Hammer was not required!

Same is same if you ask me. Both awesome companies. SW is cheaper and showed up first.

Arh is American made stainless too. SW is not. But both are bent, welded and assembled in America!

How are the welds on the SW headers, I saw a pic somewhere that didn't show welds on the outside of the headers to the flange. It could have been a pre production mock up but wasn't sure.

I don't remember in that area honestly.

Not really needed there as long as the inside flange was welded and ground flat.

Reality check, he's not making anywhere near 500 at the crank. His baseline started at 390 rwhp+. He's got the happy dyno mod. Since the OP sounds like a real asstute racer. I'll wait for the 1/4 mile time slip, he can fill us in on the weight of his car, I'll gladly figure out the DA and let's see what he MPH's. MPH is the true test of HP..... I'm glad I subscribed, I can't wait for the results.
