At around the 18:00 mark, they talk about the Liquid Carbon Edition and why it costs what it costs.

Went and looked at the Liquid Carbon GT. Beautiful car. Asking price is $1.75M, it’s the dealer group owner’s personal car. Only 30 made in Liquid Carbon, 2 of them reside here in suburban Chicago.

Marvel of engineering, that’s for sure. Was in the Hamptons this past weekend and saw both an 05/06 Ford GT in red and a modern GT in gray within a matter of hours. I’ve never seen a modern GT in the wild…and holy sh** the presence on the road is nutty…still in love with the OG of course. The guy street parked the car and even in a town where exotic cars are quite common, a crowd quickly formed around it. Such a special machine…that said, very happy with my decision, even though I know as time goes on and prices go up, my odds of ever having one in the stable goes down…but I’m OK with that, can’t part with anything I currently have…good problem.
