I would think the paint would be faded 0n the rest of the car if the strips
where to be removed. (Never used stripe kits before).
What you guy's think?

On any striped car that I've owned, I've not seen fading. My cars sit outside and have been used for daily drivers for years of ownership.

I think the painted stripes look beautiful, but there are good benefits to using the proper vinyl material to achieve the same look.

As much as I love the GT350 I thought the 10" stripes looked better on the stock hood. I had these done by Big Worm on Tuesday.

Those look good and fit between the 2 raised areas but, look at the GT350/R hood. It really narrows where the vent/scoop is.

Hey I have a idea. You could remove the white pin strips and it would look like it
had ghost striping. It looks really good as is. I Just thought I would through that out there. ;)

I'm doing ghost on my silver. Have the samples and will be deciding on the color soon.

Cool, be sure to post pics when they are done. Are you having it painted or vinyl ?

Vinyl. I don't understand why people would paint these on. You can do them yourself and if you want to change the color it's easy.

It's just that the painted Strips are so close to the color of the car they are harder to see.
(stealth) If I really liked the color I picked I would never paint it again ,but I do get the
vinyl, and changing the color when ya want. Still want to see it though.

I agree and think the GT350 needs the more narrow stripes. On the non-GT350 hood, I like the wider stripes.

We added the stripes below to our web site today. They are 7.5" wide at the back of the car and 6.75" wide at the front. Since the GT has a different hood and nose, they are not identical to the GT350 stripes, but have a similar look. Since they are narrower they are easier to install and cheaper. You can the pinstripe to the outside of the stripes for all kinds of different color combinations also. We supply plenty of .275" pinstripe for an extra $10

Been in Touch with Big Worm Graphix. They are going next week to measure the GT350R stripes and they will offer the same stripes on their website. They are worried Ford might put a stop to it.
They had a bunch of security guards watching the car at Barrett Jackson, so I was more worried about the security people kicking me out for getting too close to the car. Since a Non-GT350 has a different nose/hood the stripes will be different enough that they wouldn't be an exact copy of the Ford stripes so no problems. The GT350 nose/hood is a lot narrower so an exact copy would look really thin on a non-GT350.
