Thank you. Iām almost 100% positive they used 91. I didnāt ask specifically. But they knew where the car was going. And only mentioned the highest octane available.Beautiful setup and car! Do you know which octane they ran for your dyno runs?
I assume since you needed CARB youāre in Cali and highest octane available is usually 91
Copy that, thank you! Those are great gains and you did a service for the whole community now. Much appreciatedThank you. Iām almost 100% positive they used 91. I didnāt ask specifically. But they knew where the car was going. And only mentioned the highest octane available.
Iām still here. Just hit about 10k miles on the system, and itās still running great. I was having issues with a coolant leak out the top cap of the reservoir, but turns out it was just overfilled. My only problem with it, i canāt get to the lower port to empty the oil. Iād have to remove a lot to get there. We use a little hand pump to change the oil, so not really a big deal. Still havenāt gotten a custom tune on it and not sure if it needs it actually. Whatcha want to know?Hey are you still on here? Was wanting to hear a longer term review of the kit, Im looking at the same one right now.
Awesome! I was wondering about logevity and how it was holding up. 10k miles is pretty solid. How is the general driveability on the Procharger Tune?Iām still here. No issues. Pretty solid. It probably leaves a bit on the table, but I wouldnāt expect them to seriously push the limit. With any centri unit (I believe) the low rpmās are close to stock. Real boost seems to come in about 3k rpmās. At least to where you really start to feel it. So, stop and go traffic and going through your neighborhood is going to feel close to stock. Anytime you want to get into it, itās real easy to adjust your driving style. I canāt compare to a twin screw cause I havenāt driven one on these cars. Overall, I love it. If I did it again, Iād go the same route.Awesome! I was wondering about logevity and how it was holding up. 10k miles is pretty solid. How is the general driveability on the Procharger Tune?
This is whats killing me. Im going back and forth as to weather or not I get the standard kit and just pull it off for smog every 2 years. Or If i just get the smog legal kit. My goal is only 650wheelish power, so I know the smog kit can do that.Interesting how they have to mount the head unit center, in order to keep the stock airbox for CARB.
whereas, all the other ProCharger kits replace the airbox making maintenance a tad easier

yep, CARB kit all day long⦠pulling off for smog the first couple of times is fun, but youāll regret it quickThis is whats killing me. Have you had to change the belt yet? If so can you change it without removing the head unit?No issues. Pretty solid. I havenāt. But it looks like it might be able to be done without removal. But, I havenāt looked at what they recommend either.Have you had to change the belt yet? If so can you change it without removing the head unit?
