Does anyone know if GT500 CFTP Springs will work on a 15-17 GT?

I know the GT350 springs work, but would the GT500 springs also work on this year/model or did they switch up the suspension?

GT500 = Mag ride.
Mag ride rear springs are handed.

I’m not sure if the RLCA is the same on a non mag ride car, or if it’s just the spring isolator that’s different ?

I run GT350R springs on my non-magneride car even thought they are technically Magneride. The only issue with them was you needed to run 2 right springs on the rear as the GT350's have different springs for both right/left. I would assume the GT500 springs would work, but I'd have to check and see if they run the same springs for both sides like a GT or a right/left spring like the GT350. I'm surprised no one with a GT and a blower has tried them yet. The stiffer spring rates up front should work well for boosted GT's.

You could do the same, I'm just curious as to why you would when there are demonstrably better options available out there that will fit your vehicle already.

It's not for me. I run GT350R springs with Konis and love them. My friend has a blower on his car, so I thought the GT500 CFTP springs would work even better for him, since the GT500 springs account for the extra weight of the blower.

That makes a little more sense at least. Personally I'd just run the lowering springs that match the ride height he wants first. Then, if adjustments need to be made, Steeda makes spacers up front in 1/8" increments to increase ride height if you need to offset a little extra weight.

Otherwise move to coilovers if handling is the primary concern. I tried going the lowering spring route and was shocked what moving to a real set of coilovers did to the car.

BTW here's the stock spring rates for the GT500 spring options.
