Someone posted a copy of the warranty that said if emissions were tampered with the warranty is void.

That was me. What I actually posted was:

What Is Not Covered by This Limited Warranty:​

E) Failures caused by:​

(3) tampering with the vehicle or the emissions system and components;​

which is slightly different from "if you tamper there is no warranty".

However, I also thought that Ford would claim that the problem was caused by the emissions change (via some unknown and unexplained process), would deny the claim on that basis, and that it was unlikely to be worth the OP's time and effort to challenge the denial.

The OP still hasn’t provided an explanation on who or why the cats were removed. Seems like he’s avoiding the question.

The OP owes everyone an explanation. After all he was the one that created this thread to begin with. That way there wouldn’t be all this speculation.

Removing cats in and of itself, cannot cause failure of the engine.

What part of "via some unknown and unexplained process" indicates a BS excuse are you struggling to understand?

Bull. He owes nothing to anyone. Why do you feel entitled to minutia at this point? He was made whole, that is what matters.
