I have located a new 2024 Mustang DH manual. Antimatter Grey, 700a, with Recaros. I wasn’t originally planning on buying a DH, was leaning toward a low mileage 2019 DHG Bullitt ( 52k ). The DH is 77k all in with taxes. I’d be wanting a Ford Extended Warranty on the Bullitt. The DH has apparently been sitting on the lot for 7 months. I have to assume the DH is not selling well. Not crazy about the screen dash set up, but I could live with it. Not sure about the Antimatter Grey, it’s a $600 option, but I don’t think it’s a popular choice. This will be my last Mustang purchase. To be used as a summer driver. Cheers

Trying to determine which car to go with. I’m recently retired from law federal enforcement. Have to admit, retirement not working too well; boring af. The car thing is more of a distraction. Law enforcement is my family; only now I’m finding out, being on the outside isn’t working. Getting another car is way easier than getting into another female relationship. And cheaper. Us in law enforcement are often on a third marriage. I’m done after just one. And, another Mustang isn’t too likely to walk out.

You can save $20K buying one of the many new discounted ones collecting dust in Canadian showrooms.

Well, I love both my woman and my Mustang but my Mustang never disappoints me.

I personally like the striking colors for sports cars, and would never own black-gray-white-silver, etc. Just make sure you don't compromise on the color. After 6 years, I sometimes still turn back to look at my car when I walk away from it.

You just have to find and embrace a new hobby. Why not make that hobby your Mustangs? It’s what I did all through my career and continue to do in my retirement. I’m retired law enforcement as well (just hit 6 years in Dec. 2024). Between my Mustang, two motorcycles and taking care of all maintenance responsibilities on our home, I don’t have time to be bored. I imagine if I were to find myself feeling bored, I would quickly suppress those feelings by reflecting back on the toll that a 26.5 year career as an LEO has taken on me and make it a point to get back to enjoying life.

You’ll get there, just make it a point to do so. Maybe even try attending a few racing events (road or drag) or car shows and see if that gets you into a different frame of mind and serves as a catalyst for all of the fun times that lie ahead for you. To all, who make it out of that profession alive and with a reasonable portion of their health is truly a blessing.

WOW....what dealership is that?,,,just kidding,,,how low of mileage is the Bullitt?
The dollar amounts that I referenced are for a new 2024 Mustang Dark Horse Premium. 6 sp, Recarros, Antimatter Grey.
