UPDATE 1: HPFP seemed to be causing the squeaking, replaced and now gone.

Hello, so I own a 2019 GT.

First things first, Its winter so i know sometimes engines can run a little bit more rougher in colder temperatures from my past experience and knowledge.

Last December i had my local shop fix my TSB for timing chain tensioners. That problem doesn't persist any longer. Engine sounds great since I've gotten it back.

Ever since last 2 or so weeks ago, I've noticed noise coming from the engine again. When its cold the noise is more noticeable, but when engine is heated up, no noises persist until this squealing started.

The squealing only starts happening when engine is up to temp. It sounds very faint, but noticeable. I've looked around and I'm pretty sure the noise is coming from the high pressure fuel pump. ill have to take a video and post it tomorrow but i figured this is a good starter. If I'm in the wrong thread let me know as well. First time using the forums.

I plan on buying the part when I'm 95% percent sure it is that making the noise and swap it out. Also ever since this noise started my car has sounded more like your stereotypical 5.0 diesel engine which i've heard from plenty that its normal. Open for ideas and suggestions.

Here's the video of the noise. Gets louder when engine warms up. Right on high pressure fuel pump.

Sounds like an idler pulley bearing going bad.
Not familiar with your serpentine setup. But they all eventually start to squeak like that.
Have had so many squeak over the years that I actually keep several on the shelf.
Might as well replace the belt while it’s off. Good insurance.

figured it out btw. Fixed the part today. the high pitched squeaking sound was the HPFP. i replaced it today and its gone, although now the HPFP is a little bit louder, it seems to be working better.
