How does anyone feel about the removal of the tower strut bar on PP cars? Will you replace it with something that will fit or is it just for looks?
Kbrace will stay and does most of the work.

Mainly for looks. When you have one in your hand, you'll understand why.

Wow Whipple, Thanks for getting me excited again! And you guys are back with a vengeance with this new kit!
I am impressed with every little thing you did to control heat/heat soak. I had a Saleen blower on an 05 GT and it was a little heat pump even at 10-12 PSI. I really had to address the inter cooler/heat exchanger system. I had to get a better pump, bigger heat exchanger with fans, bigger reservoir, and reroute my hoses. Every little bit helped. But it looks like you guys have already addressed most of this with your large standard heat exchanger, maxed out intercooler core, larger reservoir.

I have alot of questions here, sorry in advance.
1. Is the standard heat exchanger the same size as the option one with fans? Any pics or dimensions of either or both?
2. What fluid pump are you using? Whats its GPM? And do you know what its GPM is while its plugged into the system?
3. Does the reservoir have a big enough opening to put ice into it?
4. What pulley size or throttle body setup will the optional powertrain warranty be for?
5. Are you guys gonna have a tune for auto cars? With optional PT warranty?
6. How loud is the whine in this head unit compared to say the one in the 05-10 4.6 3v cars?

Thanks in advance! And sorry to bombard you!
No worries. Yes, there's an excellent story of how and why this kit came about, but not one I can put on the internet...
The standard HE is the oversized one. We started with a smaller unit for prototype because we had in stock. Production units are now in stock and what the kits are shipping with. The dual fan bolts right on to that huge HE.

Were using the standard Bosch unit. There are better pumps but at a much higher cost. The Bosch is adequate with the proper system.

Reservoir has 3/4" hose barbs and a 1" filler neck. You would need a IC box with a fuel cell style cap to really add ice properly.

Powertrain warranty will be for all, stock tb, 90mm or 132mm.

Auto will be shipping Feb 2nd. Already doing testing on it. Cal has some trq mgt left in it for proper life.

Certainly have a good whine, I would say from memory, pretty close the 05-10.

This kit just gets better and better. That reservoir is a work of art and don't get me started with that fan! I'm in love!

I have somewhere that there is no grinding and looking at the design, you shouldn't have to destroy the k brace like the Roush SC install. I'm thinking that thw Whipple install would be eaiser than Roush.

This is looking like an awesome kit, but I'm amazed that its adding 300hp and remains reliable. Is this true?

I think this is fair. Expensive but very fair. Having done one before I know what's involved. They also include a before AND after dyno run with printouts.

Far easier than the Roush kit!!! Possibly half the time. Of course Dyno time and road test adds sometime but in general it's a very easy install. And of course once you do one the next is even easier.
