Mach 1 Steering Wheel Badge

I received the Mach 1 steering wheel badge from Badge King. It looks outstanding. However, my badge came with instructions to remove the current stock badge with a plastic prying tool. Is that actually necessary?

Mine was put on top of the stock badge and looked fine.

Yes. I reached out to Badge King, who I have to say is SUPER RESPONSIVE, and he cleared it up for me. Turns out I was reading the instructions incorrectly.

Unfortunately, Badge King seems to be retired. Glad I got my replacement.
