WINDOW STICKER!! and COTUS for convertible.

So excited I could burst!

I'm finally able to view my window sticker and I'm also able to view my car's progress and delivery date in COTUS. I was originally told that COTUS would not provide results for convertibles but it will if you use this one... http://wwwqa.cotus.ford.com/ For whatever reason the one with QA in it pulls up the results for my vehicle but the other one does not. If you log into the Ford owner site you can also view your Owner's Manual.

Delivery date is a long way off... But at least now I have SOMETHING!

Are you talking about the window sticker? I just printed it as a PDF.
And the COTUS I just snapped a photo with my phone.

At the top of your sticker, above the vehicle color. It is the date the vehicle will be manufactured at the plant. The one pictured above will be 12-19-2014.

No. Drop the leading "1" and you have 20141219 or Dec 19th, 2014.

I've been tracking S550's that are considered part of "my dealers extended inventory" since early October.

When convertibles started showing up about a month ago or so, I was always able to look at window stickers, but COTUS always comes up saying no matching VIN. Interesting and kind of strange that there is an alternate "COTUS" address where CV's will display.

Thanks for this info, I'll have to try it when I get back home.

Your Sir without a doubt win the Award on this Blog for "most patience" hands down! I ordered my S550 Convertible just (1) day before you on 9/2. Our VIN# are less then 500 apart. My Vehicle Blend/Built 11/24 and is in Transit finally and has a EDD of 1/14. Hoping it arrives later this week or early next week. You MSRP sticker says Special Order, like mine. Regardless of your Dealer`s Allocation, you would think a Retail-Special Order would have got a higher priority then your got. Glad you finally got some solid information. I would have probably gone looking for something close that was either on the ground or soon arriving at another Dealer by now. Mine has not arrived yet so I still have (my) fingers crossed.

I never gave up on getting a S550 15` Convertible, just the one I originally ordered! Suddenly, after 4 weeks of my Car being in FRAP`s "Twilight Zone" it suddenly escaped into Transit Mode on 12/27? Last week it was reported chugging along the tracks in Kentucky. By now, hopefully the train is in Florida. Fingers crossed it will arrive by next week, non the worse for its mysterious disappearance for a month.
