Life insurance doesn't pay off for suicide.

So, wouldn't anyone with a life insurance policy planning suicide sell it to Coventry the day before?

That’s carrier specific. My policys would pay off for suicide. My most recent policy its just not fully vested for that until 24 months.

What is all this talk about suicide? Did someone buy a Camaro? A Challenger? A 4 Series coupe with the giant beaver grill?

Some might, but I think the honest customers, who sell their policies in good faith, are very likely to outnumber them by a fairly high margin. Besides, I imagine that most people who commit suicide wouldn't even think of this. Suicide generally means, "fuck you all, you can all go to hell, I don't care about anything or anyone anymore". Sure, there will always be exceptions, but probably not many enough to put a noticeable dent in Coventry's profits. Win some, lose some...
