Windshield wiper fluid tank removal

For those that have taken the tank out, is there a way to pigtail the sensor so I don’t get a wiper fluid warning?

Can you jumper the connector with a paper clip or a U-shaped piece of wire then tape it off?

I asked the same question on TrackMustangs forum and three people said it wasn’t an issue, there is no warning light. I’ve been working since I posted this so I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet but I’ll have a day off in a week or so…

Yup, got it taken out, removed everything and no warning light. Super simple because I had the front bumper off already

Same here. I had no warning light at first, but when I disconnected and reconnected the battery the warning light comes on now.

I already get a few warning lights, maybe I’ll just live with it. Crap that annoys me though…
