I’d like to buy a white set on wheels for my car. Post your photos for ideas!

Looking to still keep the 19” size

These are my current black wheels but maybe it’s time for a change?

There are plenty of sites where you can show us with their technology what it would look like. I am not opposed to it but I am skeptical of it. Show me.P

When I began studying my options, I simply Googled. "Grabber Blue Mustang with black wheels." "Grabber Blue Mustang with grey wheels." You get the idea.

I did that just now, looking for grey Mustangs with white wheels. Literally, there were like two, maybe three. Same for bronze. More had silver-looking wheels. The majority had black.

IMO, white and bronze were out. I simply did not care for how they showed. For the ones which had grey or silver, the general concern I had is grey and silver are close to Magnetic Metallic; the eyes tend to blend things close in color. Black showed best to me; it allowed the Magnetic Metallic body color to display in full on its own.

If you continued to stick with black, you have options as far as spoke layout (less on the new set) and finish (gloss or matte). Maybe something like an LMR R350 look versus what you have now.

Setting my opinion aside, there's the practical consideration as to how you'll keep white rims clean and looking nice. Like you, I have a black gloss rims. Mine have been ceramic coated. Even after one drive, the brake dust and road debris, while slight, can be noticeable. If using a white rim, it seems the owner would be constantly cleaning them.

I went with gloss graphite on mine. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
