As soon as you click on the icon to write the data, it gets loaded into the register. I don't see any issue with how it was disconnected.

i hope not. but it's just the audio control module. so no big deal i guess if it didn't work right.

It’s been a while, but from what I remember, when you write the new config to the module, it will reset when done. So if that didn’t happen, maybe you need to check on it again. You can also see if it reads out the updated numbers.

after making the forscan changes, i noticed the chimes (like when changing stations on the radio or icons on the touch screen) were insanely loud. i decided to revert to the original settings and it cured that problem. weird.
