Mishimoto looking forward, please dont make it expensive

If you have to BG or media blast the valves every so often then go for it. If it works and its a great benefit to the motor's longevity, who wouldnt jump at the chance to get their hands dirty under the hood

Ford will probably make a recommended cleaning service and re-engineer future models. Maybe both port and DI (Lexus does this), or put additional oil catches that just dump the fluid back to the pan somehow?
Thanks! We will do our best to keep the price reasonable for everyone!

We have actually been working on a valve/fitting option for the base of our catch-cans for those who wish to return oil to their pan. That could be an inclusion in this kit if we find a port to effectively return the oil, and have enough interest from the folks on mustang6g.

Could you PM me when your product goes on sale, please? I am very interested to get my hands on one. I am not a "racer" but still I do not like to bring my car every 20,000 miles in the FORD shop to get a new engine head. :eyebulge: VW had the problem 20 years ago with the T4 turbo engines. That's why I bought the T4 CRD without turbo and only 78HP. :D Never had a problem at all. Thanks!

We already have a single valve kit on our GT, we are waiting on our ecoboost to arrive so we can mock up both RX and UPR Dual Valve Catch Cans on as we know those are well proven solution on the ecoboost platform. The RX cans have been a must have mod on the Ecoboost Trucks since they were released due to the F150's PCV system flaw of evacuating under boost.

Here is a look at what our single valve kit looks like on our GT, the production model will have quick connect fitting all the way around for a true plug and play install.

I don't like to offend you here, but wouldn't it be better to post EcoBoost pictures from your available product in the EcoBoost subforum and not 5.0 pics?

:hail: Only saying.

Have you guys gotten any results to your testing yet? I'm curious how much oil you're getting and if one of those cans might be unnecessary. Still interested in the product when it's out.

Sure did! We pulled the cans off of our car yesterday to see if any fluid had been captured. This was after about 300 miles of road use, as well as a handful of dyno pulls.

This can (PCV side) has quite a bit of fluid, which appears to be a mix of both fuel and oil. The valve-cover breather can was fairly dry. We are continuing our testing to see if any additional accumulation builds up in either can.

Thanks!

It's an oil catch can. All the oil in it would normally get sucked into your intake if it was absent.

Edit: The second part of your question. PCV means - Positive Crankcase Ventilation. The pressure that builds up in the block has to have a way to escape. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crankcase_ventilation_system

Dragon is correct, this "oil can" is the base to one of our catch cans featured in our direct fit baffled oil catch can system. We are working on some final testing and design work for our EcoBoost specific kit. The fluid you see would have ended up back into the vehicles intake system, if it had not been trapped by our catch can.

PCV does stand for Positive Crankcase Ventilation, and these systems are quite complex. The can you see above with the most accumulation, was in-line with the PCV valve on our Mustang!

Thanks!

Do you have a ballpark ETA on a finished product? I wanna get a OCC sooner rather than later. Thanks!

Thanks for the interest! We are still around 8-10 weeks from releasing this particular product, assuming our testing is successful (so far we are very pleased!).

Thanks!
