Misfire codes and othe bank 2 crank position codes.

Did u ever get the situation fixed. Same problem here that I am having out of the blue. It goes away and comes back

Sure did , it was the bank 2 vvt exhaust solenoid, $45 and 45 minutes later car was fixed and never had the issue again.

Yeah changed that and no difference. Only 5k miles on Long block from ford. Of course no warranty now. Put on a bigger blower got drunk and smoked em through 3 gears down the street so I might of really fd something up

I'd send some data logs to your tuner and see if they'll look at the position of the cam phasers and the valves. Bank 2 exhaust was was cooler than the bank1 side.

It's at a tune shop now and I'm not sure if they are any good. I was also burning oil. Could see and smell it coming out the exhaust

Hey @Sweetface, did you find any guide to change that solenoid out? I am having the exact same issue with the exact same codes and am pretty sure that VVT solenoid is my issue. I'm sure I can swing the fix but a little guidance wouldn't hurt.

There are several videos on youtube. It apparently was more of an issue with the f150 so i just looked at one of those videos . It took me maybe 45min start to finish and im at best a youtube certified mechanic ....lol
