Lowering GT on Mach 1 HP wheels?

Looking for advice on how much I could lower a stock base GT that is on Mach 1 HP wheels? Obviously the wheels have a bit of poke in the front which is what is causing my concern. I would like at least an inch since going with the minimum drop seems like a lot of work for such as small drop.

Any insight from others that have lowered a base GT on either Mach 1 HP or PP2 wheels would be appreciated.

Are they OEM or SVE wheels?
I'm running SVE PP2 19 x 11 305/35 rear and 19x10 285/35 front with Eibach pro kit with no problem at all.

OEM 19 x 10.5 front, and 19 x 11 rear. I've got the same tire size as you. Any issues with rubbing or alignment other than needing camber bolts or plates?

The Eibach Pro Kit only dropped the car about little over 3/4 of an inch.
I highly recommend the Steeda Alignment Kit to center the rear cradle.
Tires sit a little inside the fender lip, no tire rub what so ever. Ride is a little stiff as expected when lowering the car.
Over all perfect for what I was going for. Here's some pictures.

You may want to get BMR non-adjustable Camber arms that will help offset the added negative camber when lowering. Your tires will thank you and so will your wallet. :crackup:

3/4" is exactly what I'm looking for. I have quite a bit of front poke which is what is causing my concerns. Sounds like the pro kit will be perfect. Unfortunately I'm not able to see the pics, but does yours have front poke or did the aftermarket wheels prevent that?

Correct, there is about 2° of adjustment in the factory slot. You can get adjustable rear camber arms if you autocross/track the car for further adjustment which I don't do.
(BMR non-adjustable Camber arms are made a little longer than the factory arms)
