Thanks all. I'll be taking this thread into the business with me next week or whenever the hood is installed and basically say "Do THIS!" and then Ceramic everything.

I imagine this will be like $1500.00 between the Ceramic and PPF

I like your optimism 🤣.
what PPF and ceramic coating are you getting? just curious.
I don't know their brand (yet) but I will definitely be finding out when I go down and have them quote me. Their Medium package Ceramic included...

- Wash / Polish blah blah blah
- 2 coats of full nano ceramic coating including wheels

That was $1000 alone.

Just FYI, the full front package is what I meant by the “front clip”

The wheels are included in the package.

I'm thinking of the following

Vinyl Stripes applied

PPF over the stripes
- Front Bumper Cover
- Hood (entire)
- A Pillars (both)
- Fenders

Ceramic Coating
- Everything including wheels
While you're at it, get the doors done. That's where all the fun people at the store parking lots like to touch you.

For reference, it would have cost me $1800 to have the bumper, full hood, and both fenders protected with Xpel Ultimate. I ended up just having the bumper done for $400.

To have the whole car coated with a decent ceramic was another $1000+

It can get to be costly. I had Xpel Ultimate PPF applied in every area that is shown in the post #15 drawing. Then had the Xpel ceramic applied on the entire car and wheels.

Boy howdy! You guys weren't kidding.

CDN Dollar quote. Both are guaranteed for 5 years with yearly maintenance on the ceramic.

It can be sticker shock. I notice that doesn't include the area in front of rear tires. Which products are they using? Count on that yearly maintenance to be close to a couple hundred also.

It's called Nano - Yes, she said the yearly maintenance is like $285.00. That isn't any big deal. It's the initial sticker shock LOL but I booked it for Monday/Tuesday.

I’m dropping the car off tomorrow night and have an appointment for Wednesday. I’m having Expel PPF done on the whole nose, mirrors & headlights along with paint correction and was quoted $1800…My paints been taking a beating so hopefully this cures the problem somewhat.

So that is basically in line with the quote I got when you do exchange. No paint correction is really needed yet.

The ceramic is way cheaper for sure but I figure with what I spent on the GT500 hood alone I might as well have them protect that beooootch from everything including nuclear attack.

When I took delivery last year I had the car ceramic coated…Knowing what I know now I should have done the PPF first…Live & learn I guess
