As far as I know your powertrain warranty would only be 3yr/36k miles from your in service date once you installedthe supercharger. The Ford extended warranty wouldn't change that.

So if you wanted to pay your car off first like you said in an earlier post, the supercharger may not make sense warranty wise. Let's say you paid the car off in 3 years. Then you installed the Roush supercharger. You would have no powertrain warranty. Roush wouldn't warranty it, and neither would Ford. If you want to mod, those extended warranties rarely make sense. Although if your radio breaks or your a/c goes out, I guess they would fix that.
FWIW, I've never had a dealer refuse a warranty claim due to anything I had installed. However, I've also never had an engine or driveline failure claim to make. I feel like it's a gray area. My dealer assures me that since I bought the car from them, they take care of things like warranty on modded cars.... but that's obviously verbal and a sales tactic.

If you have a major powertrain failure, it has to be approved by Ford for warranty work. I guarantee you Ford will not warranty your Roush supercharged car for 8years/100k miles. I would read your ESP warranty coverage and the Roush coverage very closely before making any decisions if warranty is a concern for you.

You don't keep your factory warranty with a Roush supercharger. Your Ford 5yr/60k mile powertrain warranty is void and replaced by a Roush 3yr/36k warranty. That warranty starts from the in service date of the vehicle, not from the date the supercharger is installed.
I do not believe this is true. The 3/36 Roush warranty is for their parts only. The rest of the car is still handled under either the 3/36 or 5/60. That's why you get the Roush. It keeps your factory warranty intact.

Thank you @wazslow, I was incorrect and I stand corrected. But the warranty says "optional". Does it come with the SC or do you have to pay more for it?
If you scroll a little further through the pdf, it looks like it's $995 for the powertrain warranty coverage.

As far as I know the only way to have a 5yr/60k warranty is to buy an actual Roush supercharged car (Roush Stage 3). Not a regular Mustang GT then add the supercharger.

I'm not really even considering the supercharger, but I was considering the Ford Performance cold air intake and programmer package.

I run a 6 speed too. Though my blower is different, you can see the mods I have in my signature which work well together.
