What you have look like the optional forged PP1 wheels, which would be 9" front, 9.5" rear. 275 isn't crazy on a 9", but it is a bit wide. 275 is perfect for a 9.5" rear tho.
I plan to do OEM which is 255F and 275R. I can do that despite the springs being cut?

What anyone failed to mention is on PP1 wheels, 275/40/19's are stock on the rear 9.5's
The front 19x9's get 255/40/19's

Any reputable tire shop should have that info and know what size tires came on those wheels. If this tire guy doesn't know that, then you need to find someone else. I wouldn't trust that guy to put air in my bicycle tires.
He knows that.
He knows that.
He KNOWS that.
He knows that.
He kNOws that.
He k n o w s that.
HE FREAGGIN' KNOWS THAT OKAY?!?!?

The issue isn't that he's ignorant of OEM specs; it's that he doesn't feel comfortable with mounting OEM. So the question that everyone is failing to answer is WHY?

Is it because it is lowered too much? Is it because something was modded? I can't understand why 20/30R/305 makes sense to him but not 19/40R/275 or hell, even 19/35R/275 like he even said. WHY WHY WHY

All the more reason to take your business elsewhere because apparently this guy is an idiot.

My Co-driver recently got a 275 to rub the frame at stock ride height in my 2018 PP1. All he had to do was spin the car while slamming the steering end stops. I doubt that’s your guy’s reason though.

I can take that as an acceptable answer. I'm just baffled at what could possibly be the reasoning.

I track it but I doubt it will rub anywhere. If anyone thinks I'm wrong or wants more pictures, let me know.
