I lost all respect when he wished others get sick and lose loved ones. There's no excuse for that.
Wow, that isn't right.
I don't know him, newbie.
But hopefully that was .

I thought about starting a thread like this. He is missed. I hope his family is safe and well.

I cancelled a long awaited business trip because of Covid concerns in New Orleans.

I have heard of multiple Sightings at home depot and Lowe's.
Hey, I'm not even an alien and I've stood outside of home depot with the aliens to get work when I was younger and needed money just to put food in my belly when I was homeless, speaking english actually helped me there. 😂 personally I dont think its wrong of anyone to look for work outside of Lowe's/home depot, atleast they ain't bumming it on a corner begging for money with a sign, Just to go spend it on dope/beer, they're actually trying to work. But I do think it's wrong of big contractors who are making millions to find cheap labor that is tax free, just so they can keep more money in their own pockets, instead of hiring a real worker who is trained and qualified and ready to work.

I agree. The problem is that other contractors DO just that,. So, in order to be competitive on a bid they almost have no choice. Either that or not get jobs. Everyone one wants everything cheaper.

Or in order to be competitive, they could just lower their personal profit margin. Some of these contractors are making millions a year in seattle, easily, and I'm not even talking about the top contractors that are doing the big big jobs either. I'm sure they can give competitive prices and still not 300-500k a year, but greed is the biggest sin of all, and some people will never give up the paper. No one person needs multiple millions of dollars. That's huge problem with the current state of the world. But anywayssssss, back to the main topic... alien probing.. oh wait, I mean mik! Mik! 😂

Unfortunately, humans are competitive in nature. Though it may disappoint some of us who long for universal fairness and equity, it is that very competitiveness that actually drives economic growth and benefits the country as a whole as it feeds the desire to create and hire which then expands opportunity for others.
The goal of the exercise would be to strive to be to person at the top, constantly growing and learning where and how you can bring value to others.

I dont want to be the person at the top. I just want to live life, and not let life live me. Most people dont realize you're supposed to enjoy the entire ride, instead of working your whole life to enjoy it when you're 65 and cant do all the fun stuff you should have been doing all along. Stop and smell the flowers, feel the air, listen to the birds chirp, and get abducted by aliens. I dont think the world needs to be equal to everyone, but when someone has 1 billion dollars and can literally wipe their ass with a 100$ every time they shit, for the rest of their life, while more people are homeless in the world now, more than ever before, something is wrong with that. When people are starving and millions possibly billions of pounds of food gets thrown away every year, something is wrong with that. Almost Everyone should be entitled to food, water, and shelter.

I get it. Here’s the rub though. You can. You just have to pay your dues first. That gives you the opportunity to make a difference in the world. By striving to be at the top, you create jobs. You bring new ideas. You raise good kids with good opportunity to go on and do the same. You can now have the time to volunteer at the animal shelter. Today’s janitor is the father of tomorrow’s founder of the cure of heart disease. It’s about striving to give people a chance to be more than what they started with. It isn’t always about money and power.
Believe me, I can tell you, nothing brings more joy than to write a paycheck for someone whose done a great job.
I sure hope whoever builds our cars wants to be at the top of their job, because we’re not going to be too happy if not.
FYI, don’t worry about getting older and not being able to do things. Trust me, In 2021, it’s overrated and not nearly what it’s cracked up to be. Ask my friend, 59 with his 28 year old fiancée.
