I am currently working with Lund to solve an issue with my car and I was sent a tune revision. I tried to open the revised tune file in the RTD Flasher software and it pops up an error message saying “Unable to open file. This file is part of a Remote Tuning network that you are not a part of.”
But, I can still successfully open and potentially write the original tune file that I was sent only a week ago. I made sure my RTD software was up to date and still no luck. I know this is mostly a question for Lund / HPTuners but given that I’m at work for all of Lund’s business hours, I’m hoping to get an answer here so I can get the car driving again.

Did you check for updates in the RTD Flasher app or did you go to the link that Lund sends and re-download the app?

When I was doing mine, HPTuners had issues with credits which required you to have credits for each flash (its supposed to be applied to the vin so that you can flash as many tunes as you want as long as its for that vin). When they did fix it, they said to make sure RTD was up to date, but using RTD Flasher to check, it was always up to date. I had to re-download the file and install it.

But yeah, otherwise, I would probably send Lund the question. If there is an existing issue with RTD, they'll let you know.

If you're not part of Lund's facebook support group, I would join. I ran into the issue on their off hours, but after perusing their support group, I was able to resolve the issue.

i meant to update the thread the other day but Lund got me fixed up. I think they accidentally sent me a completely locked file. I did go through the process of updating and it didn’t make a change so I assume it was something on their end. Thanks for the advice on the Facebook group! I will for sure join that
