We semi-recently (April) got our first Jeep, a Wrangler 4xe (that's the new PHEV model), it's ridiculously fun, around here, about every 4th vehicle is a Wrangler It's our new "around town", utility, beach/surf - and most importantly, __topless__ vehicle. I installed an electric hoist in the garage, removing the top is a snap and it stays totally out of the way.

The 4xe is a hoot too, we mostly run it in electric mode, so the last 250 miles haven't moved the gas at at all - it glorious creeping around the beach, totally quiet, just hearing the waves, the tires squealing in the sand - and stand on it, and it's 375HP and 470 ft/lbs of TQ (< 6s 0-60, *snicker*)

Word is the Gladiator will get the "4xe" option for '22.

Snazz is a great color. If the Gladiator gets the 4xe, I might have to take the hit and trade up. The 3.6 is, shall we say, underwhelming.

We had the full top off the other night. What a blast!! Can't wait to get the doors off as well. Hoping we can get out to the off road park in the next couple if weeks as well.

I been thinking about a Gladiator, so while at Ford dealership for service work.... I went next door to Jeep, I can't see me buying one.

They are way to hard to get in and out of. I can see getting tired of this. Plus the diesel is north of 60k

Congrats! Mustang and an off-roader like the Jeep are a match made in heaven. You’ve got your go fast car and your go anywhere car. That blue is sweet but don’t be afraid to beat it up in exchange for some fun. Looking pretty is a job for the Mustang lol.

Yeah, it's super fun. Did you install a hoist? A lift? Or just do a manual 1-2-3 lift sort of thing?

We just picked it up. It's only 85lbs or so. Putting it back on by myself was a little tricky, but not too bad.

Sun bonnet is going on today. Pics to follow. Might even get the doors off!

Oh yeah, I didn't realize the Gladiator top is a little lighter and/or we're a lot weaker

The painted solid roof on the JKU is ~110-115 lbs, we might have been able to do a group life, but then storage was the issue, so above everything for us is great. We generally pull the Jeep in front first, so the top just sort of hangs over the hood (and that makes the charging port super convenient).

Enjoy the top free, maybe door free, weekend!

That's pretty neat. When my ex had a rubicon back in Cali with the hard top, whenever we wanted to take it off I would go underneath the whole top and just carry it on my back like a turtle and put it on the ground. It was a bitch to take off and put on. Hella fun though, off roading and such.

I love jeeps.... the gladiator look too, especially lifted ones with a winch and huge tires.

That Punk'n is sweet. I looked for a Nacho, no luck. And the one year color changes make it tough.
