Thanks for that $30 au each is the cheapest here and some go well over double if your silly enough. I looked at my last invoice 10 2013 and they were $21.50 each. Still i reckon they are a good bit of kit if you like just a little more peace of mind. They worked well on my Falcon GT.

I removed my sound tube to clean up my engine bay.
This has been covered ad nauseam but I did it a bit different I think.
I cut the end off the tube going to the firewall and plugged it with a hood bump stop I had kicking around and sealed it with silicone glue. I used a leg tip on the other end.

Dropped my car off for hail repair. there's 1 pelt on each of the window trims, maybe 2, barely barely seeable unless you are looking for it.


both quarter panels windows got a ding on the chrome trim, and 1 of the doors chrome lower trim that goes below main window.

I asked to keep all the parts, you guys think I can sell 2 quarter windows (windows + chrome surround moulding) and 1 door chrome trim? lol. I will post photos and crap, but anything to offset my 500 deductible would be nice. I am wondering if when the windows off the car, if the little imperfection/ding can be pushed out form the underside of the chrome trim?

I lost 500 dollars dude. I paid deductible of 500. so I am out 500, they told me I get to keep the parts they pull off my car. so here I go, ask a question and you hit me calling me a cheap bastard. kind of uncalled for. the full bill is 4,000. sure, I dont have to pay 3500 more, but im still out 500 I dont want to be out of.

if the parts were worth even a few bucks, if someone wanted them and I could get the few bucks to offset loss, that is a win.

but! I do have some info for ya. evidently there's 2 methods of removing the glass. the ford way, does destroy the rubber seal, there's another alternative method, glass workers way, that doesnt destroy it all, and less invasive. I was reading the mustang forum and ran across a thread. im assuming they are using a glass specialist and they use a tool that digs them out easier, we willl see how they appear when done.

im actually having a rougher month than usual with bills, got grandma a big e go 750 dollar electric lawn mower because her hands are failing/authroritis and her gasser / vibrations are hurting her, threw a wrench in works, then immediately after 500 dollar deductible, then some house repairs/fencing, overall this month ran me about 2k more than normal.

so trying to limit down the debt. overtime itself isn't covering all the minuses this month.

if the parts are indeed worthless I can toss em in trash. but who knows, someone may want them depending on how they come back to me.

I had it listed @ 35k I did get two offers at 28-29k but I didn't to part with it. id rather have the eco than 29k but, if I needed another vehicle today, I would of sold it and bought the maverick fully loaded hybrid @ 27k I think its a dope little truck Area 51 gray

but, I read the general comments think the maverick is a bust/fail/ugly. its the only truck ive ever considered the possibility of owning. I watched the video, its legit as tits, tons of useful features for me as a everyday person with bikes/groceries/pulling kayaks or motorcycles. nothing heavy duty

I don’t think I’d really call it a truck. I can see a bit of utility but it’s really a four door car with a little bed instead of a trunk.

never needed a realtruck, I’m a light duty person. My Car pulls my utility trailer for 7 years Lol.If my Scion and trailer did it. I’m sure that could do it
