Last time I was out there you could clearly see the hills on fire from their kitchen. We were on standby to evacuate for a couple days, but thankfully it never got closer. Still though I wouldn't mind moving to SD.

Had to get new tires... I periodically check my tires by running my hand over the surface and this time, to my surprise, I felt the stabbing strands of the steel belt! Turns out, both front tires wore such that a tiny sliver of steel belt became exposed only on the inner edge of each tire. Not sure if my alignment is off, OR, does PP1 alignment have a little negative camber? Checked the back and I was right at the wear limit on those, so I ended up swapping all four.

They were original PS4s's. I managed to get 20K miles out of them, but to be fair, they probably needed to be changed somewhere around 15ish? I don't do burn outs, but they aren't strangers to hard cornering and spirited runs either. Replaced them with PS4's again.

of course negative camber is involved. Should be running minimum 1.5. But excessive toe is more likely your problem.

I had new tires and wheels mounted on my car today which I got from @shogun32, brand spanking new. My old driver side wheel was bent which I had to get fixed ($120 each wheel) along with two other wheels that were bad. So I thought about it and said F it, might as well get brand new tires and wheels. I love them tires have really good traction in the rain which I love too. Had a blast driving it.
