From what I understand from someone with a 2019 f-150 v6 ecoboost. It has direct injection but has fuel injectors that spray in the intake at times to help keep the intake valve clean.
From what I understand ,Admittedly it isn't allot about these turbo 4's they are direct injection but don't have the extra injectors to wash the intake valves.
Does a 3rd party PVC catch can void the Ford warranty?
I have seen the carbon build up on direct injected engines on the intake valves, and the pvc catch cans are said to help limit this. We already own a Ford with the turbo 2.3 and not sure if adding one with void the warranty or not.

No, it won't affect the warranty. Not only is Ford not opposed to using a catch can, but they even sell one themselves.

Thanks for the link, but It not affecting the warranty , This is what it states in the linked page you provided.

This part is designed and intended for competition use only. It should not be installed on a vehicle that is driven on public roads and highways. Installation of this part on a vehicle driven on public roads and highways is likely to violate U.S. and Canadian laws and regulations relating to motor vehicle emissions.

Parts the violate epa emissions regs, void warranties.
I will ask the dealer about it, but I think the "competition use only, and off road only"
put that to bed.

All Ford Performance parts and accessories bear that warning. Ford's lawyers are just covering their asses, because the car hasn't been formally homologated with them. A properly installed catch can has no negative influence on emissions. Quite the contrary, it might even reduce them.
Emissions aside, Ford wouldn't sell something that weren't safe for the engine from a technical perspective. Even if you use the car off the road, the warranty still stands.
Besides, if your engine blows and you're really worried about the warranty, you can always remove it before going to the dealership. It's a ten minute job.

Yes, and yes. I understand this, And why the law team made them add that to the listing.
BUT, if something happened and I had to use the factory warranty. oem's have been known to reject warranty claims for "off highway, use parts"
And why I asked.

It's just a catch can. If you should ever need to take it in for warranty purposes, take it off and replace it with the regular PCV line before you drop it off. It would be absolutely impossible for any Ford tech to know that you ever had one on...

They can reject your warranty because you're not wearing a hat if they want to. You'll find another dealer. Frankly, if a dealer blamed an engine failure on a catch can, I would be too worried about their technical competence to let them repair my car anyway.

Ford's official TSB for technicians to spot modified cars mentions catch cans, but then explicitly says they have an extremely unlikely chance of causing any issues or failures, but that they may indicate other mods are installed. So I'm fairly doubtful it will hurt your warranty, unless you let it fill up and never empty it.
