I would remove them, Taylor should be able to recalibrate if needed.
Sweet, so I guess there is no special equipment needed to do the recalibration then eh? I'll let Stephen know, he's going to contact Taylor Monday morning and work it out with them so I can get the car in right away; won't actually get it until 10:30 or after I drop the rental off and pick it up at the film shop, so hopefully he can get Taylor to get me in there quick!

Not Stephens fault, he did mention it to the guy who did the PDI, just weird that the rears were forgotten about and the fronts were removed.

No excuse, but the guy who would normally PDI this car was on vacation last week, they should have used the check list. Trust me it will be mentioned.
Its a good dealership and mostly get things right, equally important they work to make it right. But this is something that should never have happened.

Yeah for sure, would be different if it was the first car with magnetic shocks they had come in, but they had a half dozen 350's on the lot, definitely no reason they should have been missed.

I feel like Taylor Ford will likely refuse to work on it based on the fact they are not an SVT dealer and have no certified technician. Will it harm the suspension if I had to drive all the way back to Dartmouth with them in?

I will probably go to the Dartmouth dealer regardless even if Taylor removes them, just to get the recalibration done where I bought it.

The air oil separators I ordered 10 days ago are not in yet either, so maybe I'll look to get a deal on those for the inconvenience.

It has nothing to do with magnetic shocks. The spacers are an R only "feature".

anyone can remove them it will take 5 minutes, as for if needs recalibration
thats a different story.
Stephen knows nothing of these cars, nice guy, but not a real car guy.
Donny knows a little more. If you go to Mcphee on Monday.
Ask for Dave Decoste and have the Mechanic Stephen look at it.
He is back as far as I know and will know how to check it out.
If not ask for Rendal and tell him I sent you. he's shop foreman.

Thanks TR, thanks for the info, I'll head over to Taylor tomorrow morning to get the spacers pulled and then hit the road for MacPhee, definitely want to have it checked before the road trip home. Hopefully the air oil separators come in as well and I get those put on before I head out too.

+1 on No recalibration needed unless you get an error message. You should be fine as long as you get them out fairly soon. They are not a big deal to remove. On a lift with the wheels hanging down they pop out with a big screwdriver.

Dave called me this morning, am heading to Taylor Ford after I pick the car back up. He also said no recalibration necessary, so thankfully no hassle there, should be a quick fix and then on the road again

Fingers crossed the air oil separators come in this morning!

New GT350R owner. I am going to go check my car now.

Does anybody have a copy of the PDI?

If they have been removed from my car, I didn't get them at delivery.

Thanks,
D.

How can you tell? Are they easily seen through the hood, or do you need to get under the cat?
i just happen to have my car up on a lift. I can take pics if you want.
