So yeah, pretty sure he just lost my vote with this statement. This is crossing a pretty hard and fast line of mine. Even if nothing comes of it other than this tweet, I don't really care. Even floating this idea is too damn close to treason.

Honestly with tweets like this I'm not 100% if he is trying to steal a win or throw the election. Nothing he doesn't makes any sense anymore (not that it ever did). He says one thing today and the exact opposite tomorrow. Of course these days he will say anything to deflect from the COVID-19 crisis. Even bring up a dead issue (hydroxychloroquine).

As far as it going any further, it won't. It's just another day of "Trumpworld".

I agree it will not go any further, there's already been a lot of push back against this tweet from Reps on the hill. And while he may have been tweeting this for other motives, to set into people's minds the possibility of voter fraud, I don't care. A sitting elected official, much less the Pres, floating, even halfheartedly an idea such as this is not something that sits well with me. It crosses a line that I swore I would do what I can to prevent being crossed. I for sure as shit won't be voting for Biden, guess I'll need to do some research on Jo.

It in a response to an AP news story where one of networks (ABC?) did a blind test and it failed. Also the news story of a June election in New York still undecided because of so much confusion.

There is no doubt in my mind it will be a cluster Fk. I don't understand why people can't vote, they seem to go to Wal-mart OK. If they don't feel comfortable then they could absentee vote which works.

Our government will screw this up big time.

Well maybe next week someone on the other side will post a media story that will make you switch again, then the next week switch back again.

Any just so you know he was asking ??? He is not the first one to question or state the same. Democrates and Republicans both have concerns. I guess you don't.

John-David, no politician in American history has ever thrown out the idea of delaying a national election due to the possibility of voter fraud. Even Republicans have said, out loud, that mail-in ballots would hurt them. That said, it is not really about what he said, it the fact that he would actually say something like it. At this point Republicans do not give a crap about the presidency, all they want to do is save the Senate.

By the way, show me one RNC document that actually shows major voter fraud during a national election. Don't waste your time there is none.

It just aggravates me when people are wishy washie. This poster is changing their vote because of one news story. It not about Trump per say. They could be in Bidens camp and switch over one social media post. Really. I would never expect to see a post by you saying ol Joe really said the wrong thing today, I'm going with the other guy.

I don't find a whole lot of middle ground in this election. Trump and Biden seem to want completly different things. Trump has always been a royal PIA so did a light go off in posters head?
Also my worries aren't about fraud, its about goverment screwing it up, giving both sides ammunition to divide the country more. Looks to me that's what's gonna happen. Fraud is the least of my worries.

This does seem to have rattled some senior Republicans. Why Trump thinks out loud on Twitter I don't know. Why his supporters let him near Twitter I don't know.

The next thing will be the legal challenge when he loses the election.

All the time this rubbish is going on the US is failing to deal with a pandemic and economic catastrophe all of which needs a strong leader. I genuinely worry about where you guys will be in a year or two and for how long you are going to be paying the price for this deluded man.

As I have said many times, the centre ground decides elections. The extremes of right and left will never change but there are a lot of people in the middle who decide which way to vote on the day based on what they have seen and read. If you occupy the centre ground and get those voters on board you will win, whatever country you are in assuming a proper democracy.

In the UK the successful PM's have all grabbed the centre ground at the time, Thatcher, Blair and even Cameron. Extremists of the right and left have never won anything.

In France a whole new party was created for the centre because the extreme left and right had become so extreme, they then went on to win. Maybe you need a third way in the US ?

wishy washy, or the fact that I am tired of 3 years worth of silly and unprofessional posts by Trump? Wishy Washy would imply that I have changed my mind easily or multiple times, neither of which have occurred.

Vs people who will take any type of abuse, overlook any type of screw up, or issue, so long as 'their side' wins? Win at all cost, amiright? Is that your motto?

Gregs24..

No we need the media to stop being entertainment.
We need people to do research, not let twitter/Facebook etc run there life.
We need people to understand who they support and why.

Also, there isn't a chance in hell I am voting for Biden either. Don't think I am swapping from Trump to Biden. Will be looking carefully at the Libertarian camp this go-around, at least it seems better than Johnson or whatever his name was in 2016.

For the past 3 years that Trump has posted you have supported him and plan to vote for him? So you are admitting that you have supported him even with the abuse? Sorry but your language sounds like Nancy and Maxine Waters nightly one liners.
Treason, really

People take his tweets way too seriously. He's just playing with the Democrats with stuff like this. As already pointed out, he's mocking this hokey mail-in voting idea. Two months after a primary in NY state, and they have no idea who won. They are still finding mail-in ballots in plastic tubs at the post office. And no, mail-in voting is not the same as absentee voting as some not-so-bright person posted in the comments of that tweet.

You want to see disgraceful, watch Obama's eulogy for Representative Lewis. That was sickening!

If Trump delays the election, the Dimmercrats will get every corpse in every cemetery registered to vote and he could lose. California already has 3,000,000 more registered voters than adults eligible to vote and they just convicted several Dimmercrats for trading cigs for votes on LA's skid row.

1/3rd of Dimmercrats are already dead, illegal immigrants or residents of mental institutions or prisons, by this time next year it could be half. hahahahaha
