Puddle lamps for a 18 gt350

So I have been reading thru all the threads here for the puddle lamps option and being able to install them on a 18 gt350 and it looks it is a plug and play if you buy the newer mirrors. I went on tasca ford and cross referenced the 18 and 19 mirrors and they are the same part numbers. Has anyone done this yet to know if it 100% works ?

not Much info out there besides cutting my mirror and wiring it up.
No one has figured out plug and play with either 19 mirrors or gt mirrors?

I can confirm that it was 100% plug and play for an 18. I purchased a set of mirrors off a wrecked 19 R and just swapped them and plugged them in.

Just be aware the donor mirrors need to come from a 2019 with the technology package. If not there are no puddle lamps.
