I currently have the VMB8's which I'm getting rid off because the are 20x9+35 offset. I didnt try putting them on the Mustang because I feel they wont look nice with a 275 because they bulge out and I dont like that look. If I have time this weekend I will remove a front wheel and put this to see how the 35 offset will look

Also I feel like you shouldnt go with a 30 profile tires. Your ride will be very harsh try 35's before going with 30's. Also your speedometer wont be so off if you go with 35 profile tires.

Your ride it's going to be harsh as hell going from 40 profile to 30 profile. Before the 35 profile I have on my VMB8's I ran with 30's and let me tell you that I hated the ride and this was on a 4 door sedan which the suspension isnt that stiff, but it was horrible. After only 15,000 miles I pulled the trigger on 35's which if I set the tire pressure to 30 PSI and it was a night a day from the 30 profile. Keep in mind that any low profile tires will be hard on your suspension so the lower you go the more stress your suspension will have. Eventually you will need to replace or upgrade it.
