Wondering on dragstrips results with running octane booster on a bone stock 2018 pp1.Does it work better than 93 octane and what results.Just strip results please.

If you are using high quality 93, adding octane booster likely won't do anything to benefit you. The stock calibration has a timing limit. If you only have access to lower quality 93 octane and you are seeing knock, adding some higher octane fuel to a tank of 93 may help with that. Many bottled octane boosters have been found to leave residue behind. If you can find pump 100 octane, that would be a better way to mix with poor 93 to reduce knock and allow the engine to add more timing to it's limit under optimum conditions.

Probably not. Unless your tuned for the increased octane.

See Alejandro Flores latest video on YouTube. He tests a can of Octanium octane booster and explains the adaptive octane logic that the computer uses. He then datalogs back to back WOT tests on pump 93 vs. w/ Octanium.

After adding the octane booster the computer added almost five degrees of timing at WOT. That's got to be worth something in the 1/4 mile.

yes seen that,but car is stock no tune.I think there is a cap on the timing also
